Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of RandomChat, including the RandomChat website, random video chat service, text chat features, and any related features or services made available through RandomChat (collectively, the “Service”).
The Service is operated by RandomChat (“RandomChat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using RandomChat, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2. About RandomChat
RandomChat allows users to connect with other users for live, random video and/or text conversations.
Connections between users are generally random and may involve people located in different countries, cultures, and jurisdictions.
RandomChat does not select, endorse, verify, or guarantee the identity, statements, conduct, intentions, background, or reliability of any person you may encounter through the Service.
You use the Service and interact with other users at your own discretion and risk.
3. Adults Only — 18+
RandomChat is strictly intended for adults.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction if it is higher than 18, to access or use the Service.
By using RandomChat, you represent and warrant that you satisfy this age requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
Persons under the applicable minimum age:
- may not use RandomChat;
- may not participate in video or text chats;
- may not appear on camera through the Service; and
- may not attempt to bypass any age restrictions or safety measures.
If we reasonably suspect that a user is under the required age, we may immediately restrict or terminate access to the Service.
Where required or permitted by applicable law, we may use reasonable methods to verify or assess a user's age.
If you encounter someone whom you reasonably believe to be a minor, you should disconnect from the conversation and report the matter to us.
4. Rules of Conduct
RandomChat is intended for lawful, consensual, and respectful communication.
When using the Service, you must treat other users appropriately and respect their boundaries.

You must not display, transmit, request, promote, or engage in:
- nudity;
- sexual acts;
- pornography;
- sexually explicit activity;
- sexually explicit images or videos;
- obscene or sexually threatening behavior;
- non-consensual sexual content;
- sexual exploitation; or
- conduct intended to expose another user to sexual material without their consent.
RandomChat may immediately terminate a session or restrict access where such conduct is detected or reported.
Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent blocking.
6. Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
RandomChat maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (“CSAM”);
- child sexual abuse or exploitation;
- grooming or attempted grooming of a minor;
- sexual communications involving minors;
- soliciting sexual images or material from minors;

- any other conduct that sexually exploits, endangers, or targets a child.
Users must never upload, transmit, display, request, distribute, or facilitate such material or conduct through RandomChat.
Access may be immediately and permanently terminated where we reasonably believe these rules have been violated.
Where required or permitted by applicable law, suspected criminal conduct involving child abuse or exploitation may be reported to appropriate law-enforcement, child-protection, or other competent authorities.
7. Exploitation, Trafficking, and Coercion
RandomChat must not be used to recruit, exploit, control, coerce, or traffic another person.
You must not use the Service to:
- recruit another person for prostitution or commercial sexual activity;
- facilitate human or sex trafficking;
- pressure or coerce another person into sexual activity;

We may immediately restrict or permanently terminate access where such conduct is suspected.
Where necessary or legally required, relevant information may be preserved and provided to competent authorities.
8. Violence, Dangerous Conduct, and Illegal Activity
You must not use RandomChat to display, promote, threaten, or facilitate:
- credible threats of violence;
- violent criminal activity;
- terrorism or extremist violence;
- serious physical harm;
- graphic violence intended to shock or intimidate;
- cruelty or abuse;

- other conduct prohibited by applicable law.
Where we reasonably believe that there is an imminent threat to human life or serious physical safety, we may take appropriate protective action, including restricting access, preserving relevant information, or contacting competent authorities where permitted by law.
9. Privacy and Personal Information
Random video chat involves communicating with people you do not know.
You should exercise caution when sharing information with another user.
We strongly recommend that you do not disclose sensitive information such as:
- your full legal name;
- home or work address;
- telephone number;
- private email address;
- passwords;
- financial or banking information;
- payment card details;
- identity documents; or
- other information that could be used to identify, locate, impersonate, or harm you.
You are responsible for information that you voluntarily disclose to another user.
RandomChat cannot control what another user may do with information that you choose to disclose during a conversation.
10. Recording and Privacy of Other Users
You must respect the privacy of other RandomChat users.
Unless you have the other person's clear consent and doing so is lawful, you must not:
- record a video or audio conversation;
- take screenshots of another user;
- save another user's images or communications;
- publish or redistribute another user's video, image, audio, or messages; or
- attempt to identify, locate, or track another user outside RandomChat.
You are responsible for complying with applicable privacy, recording, surveillance, and consent laws in your jurisdiction.
11. Camera and Microphone Access
Certain RandomChat features require permission to access your device's camera and microphone.
You choose whether to grant those permissions through your browser or device.
Camera and microphone access is used to enable communication through the Service.
You may revoke device permissions through your browser or operating-system settings, although doing so may prevent video or audio features from functioning.
You are responsible for ensuring that your device, camera, microphone, and internet connection are compatible with the Service.
12. User Communications and Content
Any video, audio, text, image, or other material that you transmit through RandomChat is considered “User Content” for purposes of these Terms.
You remain responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the right to transmit it.
You must not transmit content that:
- violates applicable law;
- violates another person's privacy or other legal rights;
- infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights;
- contains illegal sexual material;
- exploits or endangers minors;
- contains unlawful threats or harassment; or
- otherwise violates these Terms.
You retain any intellectual-property rights you may have in your User Content.
To the extent technically necessary to operate the Service, you grant RandomChat a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, and royalty-free right to process, transmit, and display User Content solely for providing, securing, moderating, and operating the Service.
This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to RandomChat.
13. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints
You must respect the intellectual-property rights of others.
You may not use RandomChat to transmit or distribute material that you do not have the legal right to use.
If we receive a credible claim that content or activity through the Service infringes another person's copyright or other intellectual-property rights, we may investigate and take appropriate action, including restricting access or terminating repeated or serious violations.
Copyright or intellectual-property complaints may be sent to:
A complaint should contain sufficient information to identify the allegedly infringing material or activity and the rights claimed to have been infringed.
14. Reporting Abuse
If you encounter conduct that violates these Terms, you are encouraged to disconnect from the conversation immediately.
Where a reporting function is available within RandomChat, you may use it to report inappropriate conduct.
Reports may also be sent to:
Where possible, a report should include:
- the approximate date and time of the incident;
- a description of what occurred; and
- any information reasonably necessary for us to identify the relevant session.
Do not submit knowingly false, misleading, or malicious reports.
Situations involving suspected minors, sexual exploitation, trafficking, credible threats, or serious criminal activity may be treated as priority safety matters.
If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency or law-enforcement service rather than relying solely on RandomChat's reporting tools.
15. Moderation, Monitoring, and Enforcement
To help protect users, enforce these Terms, detect abuse, and maintain the security and integrity of the Service, RandomChat may monitor or review interactions in real time or near real time.
Such monitoring may be performed by automated systems, computer-based moderation tools, and/or human moderators.
This may include the analysis or review of video, audio, text, technical signals, user reports, or limited portions of live interactions where reasonably necessary for safety, moderation, abuse prevention, security, or legal compliance.
By using RandomChat, you acknowledge and understand that your interactions may be subject to such monitoring or review.
Monitoring may not occur in every interaction and may not identify every violation or harmful behavior.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- disconnect a chat session;
- issue a warning;
- temporarily restrict access;
- block an IP address, device, or connection;
- permanently prohibit access to RandomChat;
- remove or restrict content where applicable;
- preserve relevant information when legally permitted or required; or
- refer serious matters to competent authorities.
We may take action without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or third parties, or to comply with legal obligations.
Attempts to evade an enforcement action, including by using different devices, connections, or technical methods, are prohibited.
16. Cooperation With Authorities
RandomChat may respond to legally valid requests from courts, law-enforcement agencies, regulators, or other competent authorities.
We will disclose user or technical information only to the extent permitted or required by applicable law.
Where legally permitted, we may also preserve or disclose limited information where we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to address an imminent threat to human life, serious physical harm, child safety, or serious criminal conduct.
We cannot provide information that we do not possess.
17. Technical and Usage Information
When you access an online service, certain technical information may automatically be received or processed as part of operating and securing the Service.
Depending on how RandomChat is configured, this may include information such as:
- IP address;
- browser and device information;
- timestamps;
- connection or session identifiers;
- approximate country or region derived from technical information;
- security and abuse-prevention signals;
- reports submitted through the Service; and
- diagnostic or performance information.
Such information may be used where reasonably necessary to operate the Service, establish connections, protect users, prevent abuse, investigate violations, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not acquire ownership of the contents of users' conversations merely because the Service technically facilitates their transmission.
18. Cookies and Similar Technologies
RandomChat may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies that are necessary for the website to function, remember settings, maintain security, or provide requested features.
If RandomChat uses non-essential analytics, advertising, tracking, or similar technologies, information regarding those technologies and any choices or consent required by applicable law may be presented through the website or an appropriate consent mechanism.
You may also be able to control cookies through your browser settings.
Disabling technically necessary storage may cause some features of RandomChat to stop functioning correctly.
19. Third-Party Services and Links
RandomChat may rely on third-party technologies, hosting providers, infrastructure, APIs, analytics tools, or other services.
Those third parties may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their independent acts, omissions, availability, security practices, or content.
RandomChat may also contain links provided by users or links to third-party websites.
You access third-party websites and links at your own risk.
Be particularly cautious when opening links sent to you by strangers.
20. License to Use RandomChat
Subject to compliance with these Terms, RandomChat grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use the Service for lawful personal use.
This license does not grant you ownership of RandomChat or any part of its software, design, branding, source code, or other proprietary materials.
Except where permitted by applicable law, you may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit RandomChat or its proprietary technology without our written permission.
21. RandomChat Intellectual Property
RandomChat and its associated software, design, interface, branding, logos, graphics, text, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to RandomChat and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved.
22. Availability and Changes to the Service
RandomChat is provided on an evolving basis.
We may at any time:
- add, remove, or change features;
- modify how users are matched;
- introduce technical or safety measures;
- suspend features for maintenance or security;
- restrict access from particular devices, networks, or locations; or
- discontinue all or part of the Service.
We do not guarantee that the Service or any particular feature will always remain available.
23. Termination and Suspension
You may stop using RandomChat at any time.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if we reasonably believe that:
- you violated these Terms;
- your activity creates a safety or security risk;
- you attempted to circumvent a previous restriction;
- your use may expose RandomChat or another person to legal liability; or
- restriction is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law.
Serious violations involving minors, exploitation, sexual abuse, credible threats, malicious attacks, or serious unlawful conduct may result in immediate and permanent restriction.
24. Interaction With Strangers
RandomChat facilitates communications between independent users.
We do not control what users say or do during live conversations.
You may encounter content or behavior that you consider offensive, inappropriate, misleading, disturbing, or unlawful.
RandomChat:
- does not conduct background checks on users;
- does not guarantee the identity of another user;
- does not guarantee that another user is truthful;
- does not endorse statements made by users; and
- cannot guarantee that every violation will be detected before you encounter it.
If another user makes you uncomfortable, you should end the conversation immediately.
Your interactions with other users are undertaken at your own risk.
25. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RandomChat is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
We make no guarantee that:
- the Service will always be available;
- connections will be uninterrupted;
- the Service will be error-free;
- every user will comply with these Terms;
- moderation will detect every violation;
- information provided by another user will be accurate;
- another user is who they claim to be; or
- the Service will meet your particular expectations.
Use of RandomChat is at your own risk.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RandomChat and its service providers, contractors, representatives, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
This includes, where legally permitted, losses arising from:
- interactions with another user;
- another user's conduct or statements;
- content displayed during a conversation;
- loss of data;
- interruption or unavailability of the Service;
- third-party links or services;
- unauthorized recording or redistribution by another user; or
- reliance on information provided through the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
27. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless RandomChat and its service providers, contractors, representatives, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and reasonable costs arising from:
- your unlawful use of the Service;
- your violation of these Terms;
- your User Content;
- your infringement of another person's intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights; or
- your conduct toward another user.
This provision does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
28. No Waiver
If RandomChat does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean that we waive our right to enforce it later.
A failure or delay in exercising any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
29. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, while the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
30. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time, including to reflect:
- changes to RandomChat;
- new safety or security requirements;
- legal or regulatory changes; or
- changes to our operational practices.
The current version will be made available through the website together with its last-updated date.
Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
Your continued use of RandomChat after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you do not agree with revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
31. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the agreement between you and RandomChat regarding your use of the Service, together with any additional notices or policies that are expressly stated to apply to a particular feature.
