Community Rules
RandomChat connects adults for live video and text conversations. These Community Rules apply to everyone using the service, including guests and registered users, and form part of our Terms of Use.
1. Adults only — 18+
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority where you live if higher. Minors may not use RandomChat or appear on camera, even with an adult's permission or supervision. If you suspect another user is underage, disconnect and report them.
2. No nudity or sexual content
Do not display nudity, intimate body parts, pornography, sexual acts, or sexually explicit images or videos. Do not request sexual acts or pressure others to undress or expose themselves. Sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual content, and any sexual content involving minors are strictly prohibited.
3. Keep your camera live
Show a live camera feed of yourself. Do not replace it with a black screen, static image, prerecorded video, avatar, or footage of another screen. Do not cover your camera or point it at photographs, drawings, or text signs instead of showing yourself. Using software to fake or replace your live camera feed is prohibited.
Check that your camera is working and that there is enough light for your live image to be visible. Audio or music does not make a black screen or static image acceptable. These rules apply from the moment you start searching for a chat partner, not only after you are matched.
4. No advertising or spam
Do not display advertisements or promotional material through your camera or chat messages. This includes promotional signs, screens, links, referral codes, and requests to follow, subscribe, like, vote, purchase, or visit another website. Do not send bulk or repetitive unsolicited messages or artificially manipulate accounts or engagement.
5. Treat others respectfully
Do not harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against others. Hate speech, deliberate intimidation, graphic violence, scams, impersonation, and other unlawful or harmful behavior are prohibited. Respect another person's decision to end a conversation.
6. Respect privacy
Do not record, capture, publish, or share another user's image or conversation without their consent. Do not expose someone else's personal information or attempt to track, blackmail, or exploit them. Protect your own privacy: avoid sharing passwords, payment details, home addresses, or other sensitive information.
The built-in reporting and moderation features may collect limited evidence to investigate violations, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Do not interfere with the service
Do not use bots or unauthorized automation, distribute malicious software, attack the service, impersonate moderators, or attempt to bypass moderation or access restrictions. Use only the release or appeal options provided by RandomChat to resolve a ban.
8. Report violations
If someone breaks these rules, use the Report feature and leave the conversation. Do not respond with misconduct of your own or submit knowingly false reports. You may also contact contact@randomchat.pro with the approximate date and time and a description of the incident.
9. Warnings and bans
We may use automated checks, user reports, and human review to enforce these rules. Depending on the circumstances, we may issue a warning, end a session, or temporarily or permanently restrict access. Monitoring may not detect every violation, and a warning is not guaranteed before enforcement.
Where an Unban purchase is offered, it removes only the existing eligible ban. It does not permit further violations or prevent a new ban. Payments and refunds are governed by our Payments and Refund Policy.
10. Request a review
If you believe you were banned in error, email contact@randomchat.pro. Include the approximate date and time, the reason shown, your account email if applicable, and why you believe the decision was incorrect. You do not need to purchase an Unban to request a review.
